A lifelong film fanatic, Cam Roberts had spent six years developing his written voice when the pandemic presented an opportunity to join forces with his sister, editor and primary collaborator, Bella. Together, they produced a pair of micro-shorts: the single-shot drama Coming Home and the home-invasion-horror Screen Time. These films laid the foundation for a trilogy of cinematic recreations, whose success inspired Cam to pursue the art form in serious career terms. Since then, he has written, directed, and self-produced two original short films (Dressing Gown and Warm Glass), as well as a television pilot, Head-Quarters. As of May 2025, Head-Quarters is under consideration by several UK production companies, while Warm Glass is in contention for world premiere status at La Biennale di Venezia 2025.
